The number of jobs in small businesses (1 – 49 employees) in August increased by 63 thousand, medium-sized businesses (50 – 499 employees) by 44 thousand, in large companies (500 employees) – 70 thousand
The ADP report does not include an estimate of the number of jobs in the public sector of the United States.
Employment data from ADP, the company is often viewed as a leading indicator of the official report on the US labor market (Non-farm payrolls, NFP), scheduled for publication on Friday, September 2.
