An alternative unemployment rate in the U.S. in January increased moderately



According to the report of the Ministry of labor of the United States, an alternative indicator of the level of unemployment in the United States, a calculation that included citizens, not job seekers or seeker from time to time, in January increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month and was 8.2% against 8.1% in December.

A year earlier, in January 2017 alternative unemployment rate was 10.1%.
