Greece: retail sales rose in March

The Greek statistical office published retail sales data on Tuesday. Greek retail sales in March increased by 4.0%.

On an annual basis, Greek retail sales fell 1.6% in March, after falling 6.8% in February. January’s figure was revised upwardly from a reduction of 2.2%.

Sales of food products grew by 1.8% yoy in March, non-food sales decreased by 3.3%, while sales of automotive fuel decreased by 3.0%.
