Import prices in U.S. rose in December by 0.1%



According to the report of US labor Department, import prices in U.S. rose in December by 0.1% compared with the previous month, after rising 0.8% in November (revised from +0.7%).

Analysts had forecast growth in December increased by 0.4%.

By the end of 2017, import prices rose by 3.0%.

Prices for U.S. exports last month fell by 0.1% after rising 0.5% in November.

By the end of 2017, export prices increased by 2.6%.
