Industrial production in Russia in may grew by 5.6%




Industrial production in Russia, according to Rosstat, in January-may 2017 compared to the same period of 2016 increased by 1.7%. In may 2017 compared to may 2016, the industrial production increased by 5.6%, compared to April of 2017 – an increase of 1.2% (with the exception of seasonal and calendar factors, the growth amounted to 1.6%).

In January 2017, industrial production in Russia compared to the same period last year showed an increase of 2.3%, in February – a decline of 2.7% in March – an increase of 0.8% in April – an increase of 2.3%.

Mining in may 2017 compared with data for may 2016 increased by 5.6%, production in manufacturing industry – by 5.7%, electric energy, gas and steam, air-conditioning – by 4.7%, water supply, sanitation, organization of collection and disposal of waste, the elimination of contamination of 1.1%.
