Inflation in Russia from 6 to 13 June was 0.1% YTD and 1.9%




Inflation in Russia for the period 6 to 13 June 2017, according to Rosstat, amounted to 0.1%, from the beginning of June – 0,2%, from the beginning of the year to 1.9% (June 2016: a whole month of 0.4%, YTD up 3.3%).

Over the past period, sugar became more expensive by 1.2%, rye bread – by 0.2%. At the same time prices for buckwheat decreased by 1.3%, eggs – by 0.8%, lamb fat, sunflower oil, rice and millet – by 0.2-0.4 percent.

The growth of prices for fruit and vegetables on average amounted to 2.2%, including on cabbage – 13,4%, potatoes, carrots and apples – 4,2-5,4%. At the same time, cucumbers and tomatoes fell by 8.3% and 6.6%, respectively.

Prices for motor gasoline grew by 0.3%, diesel fuel – by 0.2%.
