LetterOne Mikhail Fridman buys British retail chain Holland&Barrett



The investment Fund of Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman’s LetterOne intends to buy a controlling stake in one of the largest companies in the UK trade supplements and vitamins over 18 billion pounds. This is stated in the message RIA “news” referring to Financial Times.

Shopping network has 1150 branches, of which in the UK is about half of the remaining stores located in China, the Netherlands and the UAE. It is reported that the purchase will be first launched last year, the firm LetterOne Retail, which is part of the Friedman holding.

The Agency reminds that bjami sales of Holland&Barrett in 2016 amounted to 610 million pounds, profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization – 150 million pounds.
