“LUKOIL” has commissioned a complex of deep oil refining on the basis of the hydrocracking of vacuum gasoil at the refinery in Volgograd, is told in the company message.
The capacity of the largest Russian complex of deep processing of vacuum gas oil is 3.5 million tonnes/year, it was built in record time – in three years. The complex also includes the installation for the production of hydrogen and elemental sulfur, the objects of factory farms. The investment amounted to $2.2 billion dollars.
The project implementation will allow to increase by 1.8 million tons/year production of diesel fuels of class EURO-5, 0.6 million t/year of gasoline components and 0.1 million tons/year of liquefied gases. The manufactured products will be in demand, especially in the southern regions of Russia.
With the launch of the complex in Volgograd “LUKOIL” first in Russia has performed its obligations under the quadripartite agreement between oil companies, the FAS, Rostechnadzor and Rosstandart, the report says NK.
