Professor University of Chicago Richard Thaler, who this week was awarded the Nobel prize for Economics, in an interview with Bloomberg said that “the stock market seems to be snoozing”.
“We seem to live in the most risky moment of our lives, and yet the stock market seems to be Napping. I admit I don’t understand it”, – said the Professor Thaler. “I don’t know about you, but I’m nervous, and apparently also when investors get nervous they tend to worry. I do not understand nothing, it seems, did not weaken the market if further profit will be based on expectations of tax reform, then surely investors were to lose confidence that this will happen…”.
