According to a report by the National Association of realtors, US pending home sales on the secondary real estate market of the United States (signed but pending contracts to buy housing in July increased 1.3% compared to the previous month, after falling 0.8% in June (revised from +0.2%).
Analysts predicted increase in July decreased by 0.7%.
Over the past 12 months, the index fell 2.2% against the forecast of increase of 2.0%.
The time lag between the signing of a contract for the sale of the house and execution of the transaction is usually between one to two months. Thus, all contracts for new homes signed in July, will be performed (in the case of confirmation of payment) in the next four to eight weeks.
