Personal income of American consumers in July increased by 0.4%, spending up 0.3%



According to the report of the Bureau of economic analysis U.S. Department of Commerce, personal income of American consumers in July increased by 0.4% compared with the previous month, after maintaining unchanged a month earlier.

Analysts predicted the growth of consumer income in July by 0.3%.

Real disposable income increased 0.3%.

Personal spending of us consumers in July increased by 0.3% compared with the previous month, after expanding 0.2% in June (revised from +0.1%).

Analysts had expected a rise in consumer spending in July by 0.4%.

The savings rate was 3.5% compared to 3.6% in June.
