Personal income of American consumers in October increased 0.4%, spending up 0.3%



According to the report of the Bureau of economic analysis U.S. Department of Commerce, personal income of American consumers in October increased by 0.4% compared with the previous month, after rising 0.4% a month earlier.

Analysts predicted the growth of consumer incomes in October by 0.3%.

Real disposable income increased by 0.5%.

Personal spending of us consumers in October increased by 0.3% compared with the previous month, after expanding 0.9% in September (revised from +1.0%).

Analysts had expected a rise in consumer spending in October by 0.2%.

The savings rate was 3.2% compared to 3.1% a month earlier.
