Personal income of American consumers rose in December by 0.4%, spending up 0.6%



According to the report of the Bureau of economic analysis U.S. Department of Commerce, personal income of American consumers rose in December by 0.4% compared with the previous month, after rising 0.3% a month earlier.

Analysts predicted the growth of consumer income in December by 0.3%.

Real disposable income increased 0.3%.

Personal spending of us consumers increased in December by 0.4% compared with the previous month, after expanding 0.8% in November (revised from +0.6%).

Analysts had expected a rise in consumer spending in December by 0.5%.

The savings rate was 2.4%.
