Retail sales in the U.S. in October rose by 0.2%



According to a report by the Commerce Department, retail sales in the U.S. in October rose by 0.2% compared with the previous month.

Analysts predicted saving rate unchanged.

In September retail sales rose 1.9% (revised from +1.6%.

Over the last 12 months increased by 4.6%.

Excluding car sales, retail sales in October rose 0.1% after increasing 1.2% in the previous month (revised from +1.0%).

Analysts predicted increase in the October index, at 0.2%.
