Russia in April 2017 increased investments in us government securities $5.1 billion According to the Ministry of the Treasury, Russian investments in securities at the end of April 2017 was $104,9 billion at the end of March 2017 – $99,8 billion at the end of April 2016 – $82.5 billion

As of the end of April 2017 the main holders of US government securities were: Japan ($1106,9 billion), China ($1092,2 billion). In April, China increased its investments in securities of $4.6 billion, Japan was reduced to $12.4 billion

Russia in the list of the largest holders of US government securities at the end of April 2017 was ranked 14th.
