The balance of payments deficit the UK in the first quarter of 2017 dropped to 16.9 billion pounds



According to the national statistical service of great Britain (ONS), the deficit of the balance of payments of great Britain in I quarter of 2017 dropped to 16.9 billion pounds compared with a deficit of 32.6 billion pounds in the first quarter of 2016. In the fourth quarter, the deficit was 12.1 billion pounds.

Analysts had expected the current account deficit the UK will amount to 17.2 billion pounds.
