The current account surplus in the Eurozone in August rose to 33.3 billion euros



According to the report of the European Central Bank, the current account surplus in the Eurozone in August rose to 33.3 billion euros, having shrunk compared to a surplus of 29.1 billion euros in the same period last year.

Analysts had expected the August payment, the surplus of the Eurozone will amount to 26.2 billion euros.

In July, the current account surplus in the Eurozone amounted to 31.5 billion Euro (revised from 25.1 billion).
