The deficit in the merchandise trade balance the U.S. in December rose 2.3%



According to the report of the Bureau of economic analysis U.S. Department of Commerce, the deficit in the merchandise trade balance the U.S. in December amounted to 71.6 billion, an increase of 2.3% compared to November the deficit amounted to 70.0 billion (revised from (-69.7) billion).

Analysts had forecast the deficit in the merchandise trade balance the U.S. in December at the level of 68.6 billion dollars.
