The deficit in the merchandise trade balance the U.S. in July expanded by 1.7%



According to the report of the Bureau of economic analysis U.S. Department of Commerce, the deficit in the merchandise trade balance the U.S. in July amounted to 65.1 billion, having expanded by 1.7% compared with June’s deficit, amounting to 64.0 billion (revised from (-63.9) billion).

Analysts had forecast the deficit in the merchandise trade balance of the United States in July at the level 64.5 billion.
