Housing prices in the Eurozone in the second quarter rose steadily, Eurostat said on Wednesday.
Housing prices increased 3.8 percent compared to the same period last year in the second quarter, as noted in the first quarter.
In quarterly terms, the growth of housing prices accelerated to 1.5 percent from 0.3 percent in the first quarter. Such naivity growth was observed in the second quarter of 2016.
In the EU28, housing prices rose by 1.8 percent for the quarter and at an annual rate of 4.4 percent.
Among member States the highest annual growth in housing prices was observed in the Czech Republic, Ireland and Lithuania, while prices fell in Italy.
