According to the Minister of transport of Russia Maxim Sokolov, the Minister of civil aviation of Egypt will come to Moscow on Friday and the two sides will sign documents for the resumption of flights. It is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
“We hope that come Friday,” — said Maxim Sokolov on the question of whether the expected visit of the Minister of civil aviation of Egypt.
“We hope that will be signed,” he added, answering the question of whether a Protocol was signed on aviation security with the Egyptian side.
“On Monday the President of Russia Vladimir Putin meeting with Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that Russia is ready to resume direct flights between Moscow and Cairo. Sokolov noted that while we are talking about the opening of direct flights between the two capitals and that the Russian side is ready to sign a Protocol with Egypt on direct flights between Moscow and Cairo this week, we expect the representatives of relevant state institutions,” reminds Agency.
The first flight between Moscow and Cairo can be held in early February.
