The number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. last week decreased by 9 thousand



According to a report by the U.S. Department of labor, the number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. for the week ended February 3 fell by 9 thousand compared to the previous week and amounted to 221 thousand

Analysts had expected the headline number will be 236 thousand compared to 230 thousand according to the results of the previous week.
