The number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. last week fell by 22 thousand



According to a report by the U.S. Department of labor, the number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. for the week ended October 14, decreased by 22 thousand compared to the previous week and amounted to 222 thousand

Analysts had expected the headline number will be 240 thousand compared to the originally announced 243 thousand at the end of the previous week.
