The number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. last week fell by 5 thousand



According to a report by the U.S. Department of labor, the number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. for the week ended July 29 fell by 5 thousand compared to the previous week and amounted to 240 thousand

Analysts had expected initial jobless will reach 242 thousand compared to the originally announced 244 thousand at the end of the previous week.
