The number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. last week rose by 62 thousand



According to a report by the U.S. Department of labor, the number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. for the week ending September 2 rose by 62 thousand compared to the previous week and amounted to 298 thousand

Analysts had expected the headline number is estimated at 245 thousand compared to 236 thousand at the end of the previous week.
