The results of the auction of 6-month US Treasury bills



  • The Treasury Department sold 6-month bills in the amount 34,942 billion

  • The yield on 6-month Treasury bills amounted to 1,220% vs. 1,190% at the previous auction.

  • The ratio of supply and demand made up 3.01 to 3.03 over the last placement.

  • Indirect buyers, which include foreign Central banks, bought 46,37% of the volume compared to 45,70% at the previous auction.

  • Direct customers (mainly national banks and investment funds) bought the 2,04% of the volume compared with 5,90% in the previous auction.

  • Primary dealers bought of 51.59% of the volume compared with 48,40% at the previous auction.
