The trade surplus of Switzerland narrowed in may to 3.4 billion Swiss francs



According to the Federal statistical office (Federal Statistics Office) of Switzerland, the trade surplus of the country in may has shrunk to 3.4 billion Swiss francs compared with a surplus of 3.78 billion Swiss francs in the same period last year.

In April, the trade surplus amounted to 1.9 billion Swiss francs (revised from 1.97 billion).

Analysts predicted value of an indicator at the level of 2.44 billion Swiss francs.
