The volume of commodity stocks in wholesale warehouses in the U.S. in December rose 0.4%



According to the final report of the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of commodity stocks in wholesale warehouses in the USA in December grew by 0.4% compared to the previous month seasonally adjusted basis after increasing 0.6% in November (revised from +0.8%).

Earlier it was reported that in December wholesale inventories rose 0.2%. Analysts had expected the prior measure without revision.

Wholesale sales in December rose 1.2% compared with the previous month, after increasing 1.9% in November (revised from +1.5%).

The indicator of the ratio of wholesale inventories to sales, indicating the number of months it will take to wholesale companies to implement current reserves amounted to 1.22, compared to 1.23 in November.
