According to the final report of the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of commodity stocks in wholesale warehouses in the USA in July rose 0.6% compared to the previous month seasonally adjusted, after increasing at the same pace in June.
Earlier it was reported that in July wholesale inventories rose 0.4%. Analysts had expected the prior measure without revision.
Wholesale sales in July decreased by 0.1% compared with the previous month after increasing 0.6% in July (revised from +0.7%).
The indicator of the ratio of wholesale inventories to sales, indicating the number of months it will take to wholesale companies to implement current reserves amounted to 1.30 compared to 1.29 in June.
