According to the final report of the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of commodity stocks in wholesale warehouses in the U.S. in June rose 0.7% compared with the previous month, with a seasonally adjusted basis after rising 0.6% in may (revised from +0.4%).
Earlier it was reported that in June, wholesale inventories rose 0.6%. Analysts had expected the prior measure without revision.
Wholesale sales in June rose 0.7% compared with the previous month, after falling 0.1% in may (revised from (-0.5%).
The indicator of the ratio of wholesale inventories to sales, indicating the number of months it will take to wholesale companies to implement current reserves amounted to 1.29 as in may.
