The volume of industrial production in the U.S. in October rose 0.9%



According to a report by the Federal reserve, industrial production in the U.S. in October rose by 0.9% compared with the previous month, after expanding 0.4% in September (revised from +0.3%).

Analysts had forecast growth in October decreased by 0.5%.

Over the past 12 months, industrial production in the U.S. increased by 2.9%.

Utilization of production capacities in industrial enterprises of the United States in October amounted to 77.0% vs. 76.4% in the previous month (revised from 76.0%).

On average, for 1972-2016 G. G. utilization of production capacity in the country amounted to 79.9%.

Over the past 12 months, the utilization rate of production capacities increased by 1.2 p. p.
