The volume of inventory companies in the U.S. in April fell by 0.2%



According to the report of the Ministry of Commerce, the volume of inventories of American companies in April has decreased by 0.2% compared with the previous month taking into account seasonal fluctuations.

Analysts had forecast a decline of 0.1% after rising 0.2% in March.

Sales of inventory in April compared to the previous month remained unchanged after falling 0.1% in March (revised from 0.0%).

The ratio of stocks to sales in April was 1.37, as in the previous month.
