The volume of retail sales in the UK in July increased by 0.3%



According to the British consortium of Retailers (British Retail Consortium), the volume of retail sales in the UK in July increased by 0.3% compared with the previous month after a similar increase by 0.3% in June.

Analysts had forecast growth rate by 0.2%.

Compared to July of last year the volume of retail sales in the UK increased by 1.3%. Analysts had forecast a rise of 2.8%.
