University of Michigan: consumer confidence Index in the USA in December decreased moderately



According to the preliminary report of the University of Michigan and Reuters, the consumer confidence index in the U.S. in December dropped to 96.8 points against 98.5 in the previous month.

Analysts had predicted an increase to 99.0.

The index of inflation expectations, the forecasts of consumer inflation for the next 12 months amounted to 2.8% against 2.5% in November.
